Not here to defend one or the other but calling out one guy when both are quite similar is pretty fughin hypocritical
    That’s fughin delusional
And by the way I don’t give two fughs if he’s 25 or not
Comparing him to other fighters stating what they have done at the same age is just puzzying out
What do guys like Ortiz or Lopez have to say then , even fughin Haney

So Gamboa being old dismisses the fact that bud got dropped against mean machine who got a gift draw against Ray Robinson (who got easily stopped by Ugas), and went 12 rounds against a one legged benavidez who couldn't move around the ring and was also a blatant cherrypick? How about Crawford fighting a washed Khan who looked like sht and got dropped in his previous fight? That's ok?

      At least be consistent
      Dude, stop deflecting.

None of those guys were 38, 5 years past relevance, and had been knocked down 15 times in their career. And Benavidez was cleared to be in the ring. He may not have been his normal self, but he was healthy enough to be inside a boxing ring. Gamboa would not be allowed to fight with a torn achilles.

Fine, be critical of who Bud fights too, especially since he's the one who chose to sign to Bob Arum, but he's 100% correct in his assessment of Tank.

Davis and Gamboa are physically more alike. If it was 2014 Gamboa vs current Davis, it would’ve been even more competitive. But that doesn’t mean anything. Their success vs Gamboa has to do with size.

Of course two guys who are both 5’5”, similar reach and similar weights on fight night are gonna be in a more competitive fight than one of them vs some dude who is 5’8”, is the bigger man on fight night, and has longer reach. I’m surprised Gamboa was able to hurt Crawford.

While Crawford is here trying to lure lightweights into a fight, I think he should instead focus on welterweights and jr middleweights.

Why doesn’t he talk sh/t about J Rock, Hurd, Lara, Munguia, Charlo, you know, guys who are up one weight class? Why look two weight classes down?
Dude, Gamboa is 38 YEARS OLD, has been knocked down 15 times in his career, and is 5 years past relevance.

And why would he "talk sxt" about those other dudes?

They're not looking out of shape, sloppy, and immature against 38 year olds with torn achilles.

      Bud just keeps it real.

Watch his Twitter feed. He calls out robberies and shxt all the time. He wasn't targeting Tank

Overly sensitive Tank fans took his being honesty for attacking him.

i could care less what happens to tank....it has no bearing on my life

tank is paying for the funeral of a slain baltmore woman.....he als bussed 40 kids and lodged them to come down from baltimore to watch the fight

maybe bud should be a "real ass cat" and tweet something to tank about doing something meaningful and nice...instead of trying to bury him for not stopping gamboa as fast as everyone thought

this is how a "real ass cat" talks about the fight....

His power will always be a game changer, the only person that can beat Tank is Tank himself. I’m going to stand by that

I’m not a Davis fan. I’m not yet impressed by him aside from him demolishing Pedraza. I’m a neutral fan and actually like both TC and Tank the same, but not necessarily a “fan” of either. If they step it up and start winning, I would cheer for them because they’re both exciting to watch. Davis resume isn’t good, but Bud can’t talk because his resume also stinks and he is 32 years old already and picking fights with Lightweights.

I guarantee a lot of those people getting on TC about being a hypocrite aren’t even fans of Davis, just fans calling Bud out for his bullsh/t. Everyone knows that TC hasn’t been fighting any good fighters in the past 3 years. It’s not Davis fans mounting a “defense” for Tank...it’s fans just saying what they’ve observed.

Honestly it didn't mean anything then either actually. Yuri has been washed for years already. The fact Yuri hurt Bud when he was already washed is still a mark against Bud & why I was skeptical of him til about the time of the Postol W.

            And Tank did miss weight
He had trouble making weight. He didnt miss weight. If he'd missed weight he'd not be sporting a new bs ass ABC belt.

looked sloppy as hell against a 38 year old who'd been down 14 times in his career and probably had a torn achilles.
            Finally I agree with you.

It is fans mounting a defense, because let's look at what Bud said.

He said what 90% of the people here say daily, he's not ready for Lomachenko after that performance & the guy who stepped on the scale overweight and fought sloppy as hell and ran out of gas, going 12 with a 38 year old with a bad chin and torn achilles aint ready. That's it.

He didn't shred Tank's resume or say he can't fight, just that he aint ready. That's truth.

Yuriourkis was undefeated and still being compared to the best Cuban fighters in 2014. It did mean something back then.

He missed weight the first time and came back 2 hours later and made weight, in spite of moving up a weight class.

i got way more respect for Teo than Stank. Teo is younger than him and yet he's not hiding behind "he young doe" excuses. Tank needs to grow some balls and take a risk. Gamboa ate all his shots. without that injury he would've been countering and hurting Tank. the boy got lucky.

Normally i avoid troll threads but i had to respond to this. Just to say that i agree with some posters that Crawford is coming off a bit bitter and classless. Like, why are you talking about another fighters career like that who's not currently in your path at all. At the end of the day, you are all fighters risking your lives trying to make some money for blood thirsty fans and maybe be in the hall of fame someday while you're at it. It's one thing to comment on a big fight but to needlessly criticize a fighter 2 weight classes below that's just trying to do them is a buster move. Not to mention he says people are acting like Tank's win was spectacular, like who was saying all that? Idk what's gotten in to Crawford lately but I'm not liking it.

Trying to lure a Lightweight into a fight. Really pathetic. Won't say anything bad about guys above him though. I was a Crawford fan in the past, but i'm neutral on him now. He needs to stop this cowardly behavior of picking on Lightweights and weak welters.
