Boesel deserves the fight anyway. He won the Euro belt, defended it twice, then knocked out Fornling to win the WBA Interim and IBO world titles.
WBC silver isn't a fake belt, it's just a lower level title. It's not actually a world title. It's like winning a Commonwealth belt, or a regional strap. The WBA Regular has to ****ing go though.

Either way, I prefer the lowest number of people walking around with belts as possible.

It's why I'm glad when someone with a real belts picks up the IBO strap and keeps it, like Joshua/Golovkin/J-Rock, and it's why I'm glad the winner of Tug vs Russell is keeping both the IBO and WBC.

Pascal has been IBO champ before so a "unification" with Boesel might be attractive to him. And since Boesel has the WBA Interim and Pascal has the Regular, it makes sense. Unless they're planning to skip Boesel right ahead to Bivol.

The reason that usually happens is the IBO waives their sanctioning fee when the belt is held by a name, because it's self promotion. You have new fans saying ****** things like "Joshua has 4 of the belts!" because they don't know better. It's actually very smart by the IBO. They had a vacant belt at HW, why not just throw it into AJ/Wlad with no sanctioning fees attached?

And I don't see Pascal fighting Bivol again.

Pascal’s a tough dude as well so it’d be a sustained beating.

Wouldn’t really wanna see that one tbh haha.

Tough or not he’d catch a bad one
Especially the fact he likes to stand right in front of his opponents
The only thing that would save him is Beterbiev would probably get him out of there early

Browne rematch makes the most sense.

I think the IBO only waives the sanctioning fee at heavyweight.

Canelo threw the IBO belt away when he beat Golovkin

Briedis threw the IBO belt away when he took it off Huck

Igor Mikhalkin threw his IBO belt away before challenging for Kovalev's WBO

Menayothin didn't take Khonco's IBO belt when he beat him

I'd be down just to see them at a press conference again. When Browne told Pascal he was going to knock him out, and then Pascal put on the ladies wig.....fuuuuuuck lol
