I do not understand why you Dazntards do not get this.

Outside of Canelo they have no one you had to pay PPV rates to watch.

GGH failed on PPV. Joshua wasn’t on PPV.
DAZN offers more than just boxing though and most of these PPV fights should be on fox

PBC brung boxing back to local tv on FOX problem is that all the decent fights are on Fox PPV. Same thing goes for ESPN+, they show nothing but mismatches on there but when they have a decent fight as well you have to buy it on ESPN PPV.

This day of age what’s the point of getting cable packages and now even apps when its nothing but crap. PPV’s are still alive and ripping fans off, wilder-fury $100 watch smh with a crap undercard. Sorry to rant fellas but being a boxing fan sucks, DAZN at least trying to break the wheel

Personally I don't see boxing being viable as a free product across the board like say the NFL kinda is until the sport quits bsing & develops into one big ent!ty that is looking out for boxing first like all other major sports have & like boxing even had in a more clusterf#ck way before promoters became defacto managers, platforms became defacto promoters & ABC groups started multiplying. And that'll happen eventually... although we may not be alive to see it lol.

It's nothing new. I keep saying people have been paying for boxing FOREVER. People don't know their history is the thing. Floyd Patterson had fights for like $2 or some sh^t on something called Tele Promptr back in the day. Ali made the closed circuit industry. Tyson largely made PPV the mainstay it still is. Go back far enough & Jack Dempsey fights cost money to watch in theaters days after the event.

HBO costed money. DAZN costs money as well as Showtime.

Being a boxing fan requires cash in hand. It always has & it likely always will to some degree unless the entire visual entertainment world shifts to some new type of advertising model at some far off future date.

It was never going to end the PPV market. The casuals still make up a large portion of the PPV buys and those aren't the ones subscribed to DAZN. Why would DAZN end PPVs just because they don't have them? The UFC runs a PPV on a monthly basis, nothing will stop that either, even if DAZN had some of the top MMA fighters in the world.

Because of DAZN, people will not want to purchase a fight like Wilder vs Fury II? DAZN's campaign was wrong all along. They said no more PPVs, but they should have had one saying PPV caliber events for the price of only "$9.99 per month" or something to that extent.

The thing is that people will pay if they really want to see the fight. Either it is PPV or DANZ or whatever it is out there.

Good match ups that catches the public imagination will sale.

If they put junk it will do junk numbers.

Dazn not only delayed their Canelo fight for a ppv event but they purched said ppv event for Canelo fans to watch. LOL!

None of your links have any promises from PBC to not have PPVs.

PBC's "schtick" was to bring world championship boxing back to free TV. They've done that and continue to do that.
