I think it’s probably the second dumbest boxing pay per view of all time behind Rahman-Maskaev 2.

Usually even when I think PPVs are dumb, I get it. Usually there’s at least one superstar involved or it’s a boxing purist PPV that’s involving two of the best of the division.

Davis-Santa Cruz is a fight between two complete frauds who have been invented by their promoters. If it’s at 130, it’s a fight between someone who might be the third best fighter at 130 and a guy who might not even be in the top 10 of the division. If it’s at 135, it’s a fight between a guy who might not even be in the top 10 and a guy who’s never fought in that division. It’s a total joke.
