The event share between the two broadcasters is what it is, but I doubt FOX is hinging their future on this event.
Can't say the same for ESPN.

Fox needs Deontay to win big, if he fails then ESPn will have the power with Tyson Fury.
They will have a rubber match for sure and both guys will make career high paydays, and could retire off it.

Having Wilder for these two PPVs is great, but Wilder's long-term home is on Showtime anyway.
Top Rank, and ESPN's boxing franchise, is basically ****ed if this goes a way (namely Fury getting KTFO within 6 rounds, after spending all that money on a non-puncher like Fury).
Crawford flopped, Lomachenko flopped, Fury has flopped, and ESPN would be weighing committing money to a struggling boxing franchise versus committing said money to a ufc property that's already doing well for them.

All we need is for PBC and Top rank is to make all fights possible and we will be back in business.

This fight will only sell about 450k ppv buys let’s be honest man. These promoters, managers and tv networks are delusional. At the end of the day ESPN will really reconsider even having boxing on its network, top rank and are going to the cause of the death of ESPN Boxing.
I hope the well drys and the boxing market crashes. Too many of these fighters making too much $$$ they don’t deserve. Perfect example Mikey Garcia, we all know coyote face don’t deserve $7 million to fight Jessie Vargas after the performance he gave us when he fought Spence.
Boxers are spoiled man, funny how all the fight of the year candidates make a fraction of what these “boxing stars” make . Fury isn’t worth all this $$, wilder getting paid 8 figures just to get outboxed and land a lucky bomb on someone??

This is a great fight. I am not buying it because I am going to stop supporting fight marination.
Fury should have rematched Wilder last year, the first fight built the second fight. There was no need to marinate the rematch.
