I figure the injury or wardrobe malfunction (whatever it was,) changed the trajectory of the fight and actually prevented a knockout from coming sooner. When Gamboa lost his ability to move he lost his ability to pursue and force exchanges. Because of this it became a one or two punch at a time fight as Davis tried to fence the cripple.

Ppl are overreacting. Davis looked bad. But it is also clear why he looked bad. He didnt look bad because he was out classes. He didnt look bad because he lacked power. This wasnt Broner vs. Ponce De Leon. He looked bad because she clearly didnt prepare for this fight. Nothing more nothing less. I remeber ppl saying this same **** about crappy fights Canelo had earlier in his career. It is what it is.

Tank didn't look his best, but that's only because Gamboa is old and tank already knew that he was a minimal threat so didn't train as hard. At the end of the day he still got him out of there. Rest assured he will be ready for Loma when the time comes.

The whole tone you start this with is such a load of crap. Oh he was old and he knew he wasn't a threat even though he was hyping up the fight like he was? Which is it?
