I'd pick Tank over Lopez, Haney, and Stevenson.

This thread is the perfect example of how posters are prisoners of the moment.

Tank looked like garbage from the weigh in through the fight. He looked like he barely trained.

Of course Loma and Lopez destroy tank if he prepares for them like he appears to have for Gamboa.

Now, how many of you honestly believe Tank would prepare the same way for a fight against one of them as he did a 38 yr old former FW that lacked the power to hurt him?

My suggestion- hate all you want . But when judging the fight use the beat version of Tank we’ve seen because that is the one I expect will show up for that fight.

Word dude. Tank deserves no benefit of the doubt because he looked sloppy , fat, lazy and unprofessional.

That stated, do we really expect him to prepare the same way for Lopez or Loma?

Floyd and haymon won’t let Davis f-ck their money up like that.

Thats fine and all but fight them then and lets see whats up. I dont know what people think others will say when he fights a 38 year old washed fighter. He set himself up for this.

Tank maybe great, but until he fights the best or guys that are up and coming like Lopez we wont know.

You’re right, Davis is likely to train better for a fight with those other guys. But I do believe Tank trained for Gamboa. And even so, he looked far from impressive versus the (injured) shell of the man. Right now it looks to me that Davis may not be carrying his power, and possibly his stamina, up to 135. I don’t see him all of a sudden looking amazing versus Loma. But I do hope we find out sooner rather than later.

I think the Gamboa fight was a classic “beat an old name”’ step up fight. I think that was the right move promotional wise.

The problem was he didn’t come through as he should, showed up fat, performed like garbage m. He deserves every bit of criticism for it.

I think they know Davis is not where he needs to be as a professional and are definitely protecting their investment. We’d all do same.

You could be right. Then he needs a professional chef and nutritionist because he looked fat and slow.

Looked like he and Ruiz “trained” together lol.
