  • Gamboa is done at 38. Winning only one round shows he's done. He never prospered in 135 since he lost to Crawford...

I doubt that Tank gets stopped by anyone he just needs to be more disciplined on his weight and his stamina

      • Tank tanks

If Davis fights like this against Loma he'll be outclassed! He'll have to quit or lose a lopsided decision! No way he comes in that kind of shape and is competitive!

I got any amount of points you want to spend Loma stops him if they fight this year. He wont see anything Loma is doing.

          • I still need to see how Tank responds to adversity during a fight or how he responds when he is hurt with a shot to really see what kind of fighter he is. He hasn’t been really tested yet. All of the great fighters, past and present, have been hurt or dropped or cut or severely bruised during a fight and overcame it. Tank is undisciplined leading up to his fights but is a beast, unfazed, walking through opponents during his fight. Would he stalk or try to walk through a guy like Lomo. I honestly don’t know. That is why it’s all just speculation. No one knows until that actually fight, IF they ever fight. Tank looks strong but his chin hasn’t been tested yet. Similar to the prior fight and how Jack got dropped and came back strong. What happens if Tank gets dropped by Lomo. We have seen Lomo dropped before and hurt. I’m very curious.

            • Loma, Lopez, they're something Davis really isn't in the league of just yet.
He'll get hyped but the names he actually goes after won't match the hype. Not anywhere near it.
He isn't competing up on the level of Lopez, guaranteed Davis has a crap run of undersized, outdated, shop worn names you won't pay to see.
His current trajectory isn't worth tuning in for yet. I know a few people who aren't bothering with this crappy money spinning model
There needs to be good opponents to match the talk, but we all know that's not really going to happen.

              • Clown

Gsywesthers team are clowns.. they picked Old non functioning Gamboa and davis spent 12 rounds to finish dude who was barely able to walk or throw smth decent all over the fight..they are clowns...Loma would make this clown look not even poor but humiliated

                • Tank isn't boxing, he just swings wild when he gets close. He hits on the break and pot shots, but as far as classic boxing goes, he's living off his power. Regular footwork, average jab, punches from way back. Gumbo was done before Crawford, this version looked pickled, stumbling around for 12 rounds.

                  • Funny how all of Mayweather's proteges seem to be undisciplined power punchers, and he was a workhorse with just enough power to get some respect. Davis was never in trouble at any point, and won pretty much all of the rounds, but you certainly expect more from a talent that is so highly touted. No reason to even say the name "Lomachenko" right now, as Davis is far from ready.

                    • tank is a one punch boxer, left straight or left uppercut
gamboa being injured, no movement, no power on his punches, and still that was all tank could do
i also noticed many of those big punches were not putting down gamboa

he's not goin anywhere vs the elite guys
                      especially in this wgt class
