Tank lost one round. He did his thing. He just needs to learn how to fight in a phone booth and he'll be good.

I hope he does too. These fighters give their all and deserve a few last paydays.

Any chance Oscar wants to make Davis vs Ryan Garcia after watching this?

Tank dropped a guy and made him rupture his Achilles. That's serious power.

In any event, extremely love crowd there in Atlanta....PBC should definitely have more fights in Atlanta, New Orleans, Birmingham, Houston, Baltimore etc cities with large African-American populations much in the same way promoters have catered to Irish-American fans in Boston and NY, Polish-Americans in Chicago, Mexican-Americans in LA, Vegas, San Antonio, Phoenix (recently), and other socal cities. Tank once again sold over 14k seats......hard to argue with results.
You can argue with his skillset, dedication and the entertainment factor of the fight though.

i think the ref didnt want to unfairly give gamboa extra time given that he had been hurt in the previous round

Tank went 12 rounds with an ancient fighter known for his awful chin, and he had a rupture in his achilles for 11 of those rounds.

                that's serious skills.

regardless of whether it is a rupture, it is an injury to a key part of the body and that is unbelievable heart

although he did say , according to the translator, that he did not want to continue after that first knockdown round.
that's not what said. He said he complained to Roque but he is a warrior and fought on.

These are the kind of dangerous mismatches that put fighters in hospitals.

A 25 year old against a 38 year old well past his prime. I hope Gamboa is ok and got a decent payday out of this.

I'm sure lots of promoters would love to have their guys fight Tank now. Floyd aint taking those calls though.

Tank going back to 130 to fight the loser of Diaz/Farmer
