Nope, I remember that. But I don’t believe in triangle theories. Besides, Loma fought Salido in only his second pro fight. I think that it’s difficult to choose between prime Gamboa and today’s Lomachenko. Would’ve been great to see; that’s for sure.

I don’t think that Gamboa was ever properly exposed. His chin was always suspect, but he wasn’t stopped until he moved up against the much larger Crawford. Toss up fight versus Lomachenko, in my opinion. Would’ve been a real fan pleaser.

I’m pretty sure you were one of those that were highly critical of Loma when it was speculated they may fight 2-3 years ago now all of a sudden a 3 years older Gamboa having lost to a journeyman by TKO and a gift vs. Sosa is somehow a beast?
