Would’ve been a great fight. Tough call. Gamboa hit very hard back then. Fast as lightning and crazy athletic. Loma is more skilled and more defensively responsible. Nice fantasy matchup.

Yeah he was a bad ass before someone caught on to his style, but before that he could have whooped anyone

One beat Salido and one was sonned by Salido . Both have weak chins. I would've favored Gamboa at one point in time. I still at Crawford being put on ***** street by inactive and blown up Gamboa.

it would have been a hell of a fight, if Gamboa could hurt Loma early he would have done him in, but even when he was young and had those extraordinary reflexes, he wasn't that disciplined and tried to make it a street fight whenever he got hit, I think Loma would wait for his opening and made him pay, Loma late tko or wide decision.

Lomachenko has a weak chin..that’s quite the reach...

I think Loma wins. He is the better, gamer, tougher and more dependable fighter and a more skilled boxer with a better chin in my opinion. I think he is considered by many as an all time great right now and will be remembered that way. Gamboa tends to lose the big fights to the top guys and I am sure he won't last long with Tank.

I'm not sure the degree of difficulty between Gamboa and Loma NOW. I'd be interested to see.
