Maybe he's waiting a while, trying to get some hype around the fight. It's obvious that everyone wants him to fight Margarito if the Oscar fight doesn't happen yet. Honestly i think in some ways PBF is a little scared of Margo, but Margo is going about things the wrong way! Margo could simply shut-up and put-up by fighting someone of meaning like say a Paul Williams or a Quintana, or calling out Hatton JLC....., or even Winky Wright or Mosley or atleast someone with some what of a name and a following, but instead his steadily running his yap about being ducked (OR MAYBE ITS YOU MOTHA****AS ON THIS SITE AND IM ATTRIBUTING IT TO MARGO SINCE A NEW DUCKED POST IS UP EVERYDAY) but yet going out and fighting cats that are 30-9 like Rivera. If this dude really wants a piece of the pie and PBF he needs to fight the fights that are gonna get people intrested in seeing him fight PBF and not the ones that people arent even going to watch but rather hear about!Comment

That isn't really a fair assessment. DLH fought "has beens" to build up his resume before he ever fought a real "dangerous" opponent. But that is boxing... you've got to beat the man to be the man. DLH had to beat Chavez and Whitaker its not like they were at the top of their game. But guess what? It increased his popularity and his recognition and that set up super-fights against tough opposition like Shane and Trinidad. I don't like Floyd's recent opposition and I do think he should fight Margarito. But you sort of made the point for me, Mosley and DLH aren't getting any younger so the time to fight them would be sooner rather than later. My question is WHY NOW? Not that it couldn't be now but why does it HAVE TO BE NOW OR NEVER. It's not like these guys are retiring any time soon. DLH could have made more fighting Trinidad but he fought Whitaker. Regardless of your opinion, a lot of people consider the older guys to be the champ until somebody beats them. That is what Shane and DLH are now. Plus the $ thing has nothing to do with this. Yes Floyd loves money and wants to make the most of it. But he has plenty of money and the 8 million today will be 10 million or more in a year. Think about it if Arum was willing to offer 8 million before any of these boards started etc (all the media hype). Imagine what kind of demand there will be for this fight if this continues for another 12 months. I just want to see good fights so I would love to see Floyd fight Margarito right now. How is Arum going to benefit from paying 8M, the fight might not even generate more than 8M $$$, I dont even see how he can offer that. For all we know, HBO might be offering him 10M, I know they got the $$$. And its not that we dont want to see him fight Margarito, its the fact that certain people make it seem as if he scared and need to fight Margarito.
