Comments Thread For: Gamboa's Coach: We'll Take Davis To Deep Water and Drown Him!

Stacey McKinley, who is part of the training team to former unified world champion Yuriorkis Gamboa, is predicting a very big upset when his boxer steps in the ring with Gervonta "Tank" Davis on Saturday night. The Showtime televised fight takes place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, as the headline bout of a Premier Boxing Champions event.

ok mate. Gamboa is done. Stick a fork in him. I hope he gets 1m dollars from this fight, and hopefully after everyone’s cut he gets to see half of it.

I have to say gamboa is the only person I think has a worser chin than khan. If gamboa does nothing spectacular in the early rounds than it’s going to be a very early night for him.

no chance that his chin is worse than khans. While he's been dropped several times, he's only been stopped once and that was by a much bigger Crawford who has moved his power all the way up to 147. Khan has been dropped more and ko'd more than Gamboa. Hell, even algieri rocked him.

I think they’d both drown in deep water.

            Tiny men.

a prime Gamboa would've been avoided by Tank "he young doe" Davis.

Gamboa won’t be able to stand up to tanks power. It won’t go past five. Tank is going to be the next big star. When I watch him fight I see great defense, footwork, speed and power. The only question that remains is how sturdy his chin is when he gets hit with a big shot. Maybe Gamboa can show us on Saturday.

Haha Is this guy kidding me? Deep waters? Gamboa probably won’t make it past six. And he better be planning on getting lucky before then, because the longer the fight goes, the less chance he’ll have.

Lol No doubt. Gamboa always had a shaky chin, but you said it all. No way Yuri has a worse chin than Khan.
