Thats probably true about Ortiz but also Wilder is actually a good boxer. He's a lot better than people think

True but Wilder would just have approached it differently.

Agreed. Unless they are not quoting this coach accurately, I can't understand how an accomplished trainer like Fernandez could minimize Wilder like that. They really don't understand what they are seeing, and that will always be their undoing.

And had he fought Wilder he would have been more brutally knocked out and much quicker.

Andy Ruiz is better than some people give him credit for, and much better than most of the guys on Wilder's record. A motivated Ruiz could give anybody problems. Let's not forget that Wilder got stunned by Eric Molina, and Fury nearly got stopped by Otto Wallin. This is heavyweight boxing, everyone's vulnerable.

Wilder got saved by the bell against Harold Sconiers, and Fury has been dropped by Pajkic and Steve Cunningham. You think either of them would take the shots AJ did in the 1st match, much better? Haters kept calling AJ robotic, but when he comes in and puts on a boxing masterclass, all of a sudden he's a runner.
AJ is not a masterclass boxer although he is good. Masterclass boxers are boxers like Mumhammad Ali, Lomachenko, Floyd Mayweather, etc. Not boxers like Anthony Joshua.

Wilder has a few tricks and a wicked punch with not much else. I am hard pressed to find a more one dimensional, less adaptable fighter than him. There is absolutely nothing about his past that suggests he could switch things up for a younger Ortiz.

Truth is though that if Wilder can land that missile of a punch he's OK being one dimensional. That's always his game plan and I believe he's smart enough to switch things up a bit if need be. If he fights on long enough he'll get beat by someone and then win the rematch by KO cause the other guy isn't perfect either.

Predictably, you didn't actually address what I said. Instead, you opted to call me a casual(I'm soooooo hurt btw) and point the finger at wilder. And who the hell said anything or cares about managers? Moron...

Wilder has the same trainer he's had from the start and added Breland on after the Olympics YEARS ago.

Meanwhile Joshua and fury are still adding and subtracting trainers this late in the game. Hey, whatever works for them...but don't pretend it's not happening...and its happening for a reason.
