So trying to be realistic, what's the fight you want to see the most next year?

I would have said Wilder vs. Fury II, but that fight supposedly is already signed and definitely happening, so I'm going to say Manny Pacquiao vs. Errol Spence to unify the traditional "big 3" world welterweight titles (WBC/WBA/IBF).

It'd be a fascinating fight for so many reasons. Was Pacquiao regaining his former glory against Thurman a fluke? Or was Thurman shot after so many injuries? What kind of force will Spence be after his accident, especially without any tune ups?

We haven't had an undisputed WBC/WBA/IBF welterweight champion since Zab Judah in 2006 and there's only been four in history (Judah, Spinks, Honeyghan and Curry).

So that's my pick. How about you guys?
I actually would like to see Canelo take on Golovkin again, I feel like golovkin is one good win away from getting his attention and interest again

You have a funny definition of "killing the sport."
Then how come the average person doesn't know who the hw champ is or the only 2 names they know are Pac and Floyd.

Damn, I hear you, but it looks like we woulda had to cash in Christmas, a birthday, and promise to not ask for anything else all year, while keeping up with all our chores, plus good grades to get a Canelo v Beterbiev matchup. Even then it woulda been a scenario like that kid who somehow got enough Pepsi points for that Hawker Harrier Jet advertised in the commercials.

just because the average person doesn't watch boxing doesn't mean more people aren't watching boxing.

if there are 300 million people in a county and 1 million of them were watching boxing before, but now 3 million of them are watching boxing, that doesn't mean the average person will know the champion.

Looks like boxingscene decided to blatantly rip off my thread without giving credit.
