Has ducking in boxing become that bad that you have to lure
fighters with offers many times their typical value?
It's so bad Canelo is getting paid $36 mil. GGG is getting paid $15 mil. Danny, Saunders, and Callum Smith are getting paid multi millions and they won't fight Andrade. Same promoter. Same platform. They refuse to fight him.

The offer to charlo was a PR move to take the heat of DAZN for not making the in house MW unifications they should be making.
We all know haymon is in a legal dispute with the wbo and doesn’t care about their belt so I doubt he is going to press for charlo to fight for that belt.
Instead of guys like you setting aside your hatred for Haymon and holding DAZN to the same standard you hold pbc, you will talk about “pbc ducking” rather than the real problem.
Canelo avoided Charlo in a way that was terrible for the sport. DAZN is holding the ggg/ canelo 3rd fight and is not forcing Canelo to fight Andrade, the other MW champ.
Why aren’t you directing your outrage there? Or do you hate haymon more than you really care about the mw division?

There isn't an offer at all. I got the videos of Hearn stumbling and bumbling when asked about it. Also got a video of Ronnie Shields saying there is no offer and Jermall saying there is no offer. But imma just play this game with them.
A lot of subscription services put major focus on signing new customers, IMO people more likely to sign up because of 1 big fight rather than 5 good fights between guys they aren't so familiar with. Do Mikey and Charlo move the needle enough? I'm not so sure, time will tell, but generally there is logic in those high offers even though it's a risky approach to keep paying over the odds. A new company often loses money early, sometimes it comes down to how deep their pockets are
$7 million is more than Charlo will ever see in his career for one fight probably. But he isn't that popular of a fighter and wouldnt move the needle much when trying to attract more subscribers.
