It will make for a great fight. Porter is a former champ, has a difficult style, and would be the biggest name on Bud's resume - all points people here have already made. Also, if it gets promoted properly, it can be a good opportunity to get some new eyes on Crawford. If he can beat Porter convincingly, with a lot of PBC viewers watching, that can only help the eventual Crawford/Spence ppv numbers.

Plus, it will be a hell of a fight to watch - boxer vs brawler. Great stuff!

I'll never say a pro fighter who worked the Olympics "sucks". KSI is the only person who has a boxing license that I say "sucks". McGregor is better than him and that's sad since KSI was trained by the Mayweathers.

A fighter might suck AT something (i.e. Manny sucks at avoiding sharp jabs to the face), or that a fighter's response to something sucks (i.e. Crawford ducking Porter), but I'll never say the fighter sucks.

You need to remember: Jeff Horn as a welter/super welter contender just beat a middleweight after a successful rematch; something Manny was afraid to do. I respect anyone who's not afraid to avenge a dominant loss. Like Kov, Choco, etc. Losses happen; but as long as you dust yourself off and get back in there, you'll always have my respect.

That said, I've repeatedly acknowledged that Horn is too small for 160 and 154 would be better for him. So he sucks at making weight - clearly, yes.

At the same time, seeing him go up and take risks - unlike Crawford - is inspiring to any true fight fan, period.

Crawford is getting older by the day. He's 32 or 33 without any elite wins on his whole resume. Just b class or lower trinket holders, faded former champs, and bums. His welterweight resume is pure dog ****. Jeff Horn, peg legged Jose Benavidez, washed up glass chin Khan, and Eurobum Mean Machine. Crawford got dropped by the Eurobum too 😂.

Crawford needs to step up his competition. Crawford is no draw. Crawford is no star. Crawford is owed nothing but scrutiny for his overrated hype job cherry picker resume. Crawford needs Porter to prove he's a top welterweight. No eye test from bum fighting will prove Crawford is the real deal... tough competition will. Quit making excuses for the cherry picker and demand he steps the **** up already.
