And who cares that Commey was the IBF champion? That means nothing. That means he’s a top 10 guy in the division and that’s it.

Commey lost to Robert Easter (it was controversial but he lost) and Easter lost every round to Mikey Garcia. Commey is clearly not a proper measuring stick for Lomachenko.

Good enough to knock the IBF champ out in 2 rounds.

He should get credit but no need to go crazy over it. He said himself that Lopez hadn't done anything to deserve the fight. Although the win over Commey was a good one those 2 rounds didn't make him any more prepared for this fight than when Lomachenko said he wasn't ready.
