I've read a 2nd televised Universum show is planned for early 2020, but I don't know a date yet

That's not entirely accurate. Unification and undisputed bouts always takes precedence over mandatory bouts.

Well if they cannot unify or have a chance at becoming undisputed then they pretty much don't have of a choice rather than doing their mandatories other than getting their titles stripped.
