It seems like 2019 has been a good year for Wilder in terms of gaining support and respect in the boxing community. Still plenty of (valid) criticism of his technical boxing skills, but it seems like even skeptics are starting to say "yeah, OK, gotta respect what he's doing."

Oddly, Fury kinda lost some steam. No one was impressed with his post-Wilder fight against Schwarz, and even though Fury-Wallin was a solid fight, he bored everyone with his WWE antics, and then the surprise shift in his camp. So while Wilder's remained in the spotlight and received positive attention (even getting in some P4P top ten lists), it feels like Fury has to get himself back into the public's graces.

Regardless, I'm glad for the fight. Regardless of the winner, it will be an exciting finish (unless, heaven help us - another draw!). And if they promote this right, they could make a large, very public draw. Good for boxing right now.

Fury just changed trainers and does more WWF and wanna be MMA to be taken serious.

            $$$$ on Wilder. Boxing a 110% sport!

Imagine Wilder-Fury if it was 15 rounds. Wilder would have ended his life. This will be round 13. Wilder stops Fury within 3.

This fight is fairly simple. Both these guys are who we think they are.

Wilder: Granite chinned, quick handed, "all it takes is one" power that he absolutely believes will always land. But he is off balance, can be hit, defense is a high guard and nothing else.

Fury: Technician that controls both ring position and distance, shifty movement which rarely gives a full target, uses his size and weight to lean on and exhaust his opposition, is a tough as nails fighter whose footwork and head movement are elite in this generation. But his power is near nonexistent, he is average in hand speed, and shown signs of wear and tear in recent fights.

So..... If Wilder lands anything like he did in round 12 of their first fight, Wilder wins. Period. Especially if it is before round 12. If not, Mr. Fury will toy with him, push him around the ring, rack up rounds in the judges eyes, and leave with a shiny strap.

Just depends on how you see the first fight. Did Wilder do exactly what he expected, just not soon enough? Or did Fury do exactly what he wanted, and just get sloppy in a few rounds?

                  Fury is crazy

He should have found a way to get out of this fight. He's going to get knocked out.

Just can't afford to give away rounds because Fury has shown he can get up. Got to be able to win rounds and then KO him.
Agree. The giving rounds away thing is playing with fire, and not just against Fury. It's going to burn Wilder sooner or later. The guy has anesthesia in his right hand, but one day he might just not land the shot right. With all of Fury's herky jerky bobbing and weaving (though that was strangely absent in the Wallin fight) he needs to be more busy and win some rounds. I am still convinced Fury finds himself on the canvas in the rematch, but like you said, will he get up. Hopefully Wilder remembers from the first fight and throws that right hand low and at Fury's chest...he finally listened to his corner in last round and Fury's duck and roll that he had been doing all night as Wilder's right sailed high didn't work and he got tagged.

Yup, if everyone is being real, it's a highly risky fight for both. Fury faces prospect of making one mistake in 12 rounds and being KOed for good this time, and Wilder faces risk of maybe not landing the shot and losing a decision. Good on them both for manning up and taking the fight. Respect. And the loser of this one in my book retains cred and should stay right in the mix (despite all the inevitable gloating from the respective fighters' keyboard warrior fan-bases) of the top of the heavyweight division.
