160. Boxrec doesn't seem to differentiate the two belts (regular and interim). If you click the link for the title Murata defended against Butler last night it shows that Eubank Jr. and Korobov fought for it previously which isn't right I don't think. Also didn't Jr. want to fight Jermall Charlo after that fight which would be for the gifted WBC belt? Makes no sense to me.. wouldn't that fight line him up to face Murata at least since Canelo fight wouldn't seem likely to happen. Is the WBA belt system like the graduated license system over here in BC? Learners license or L magnet tag on your car (interim) then you get your N or novice license with restrictions (regular) then finally your full license (super champ) and if your proven/ranked and or there's a vacant title you can skip the interim like Pacquiao. I dunno but feel free not to read this long boring rant about the WBA. Oops I wrote that at the end .

I think you need a degree to decipher the BS from the WBA.


Looks like it's an interim title. I don't know the point of an interim title when they already have two champs at that weight class....but whatever
