Why doesn’t Golovkin move to 168? Easy to make the weight. Remember Froch, Chavez Jr.

GGG is gonna be a career middleweight. We all knew this years ago. Get over it

GGG wasn't draining himself to make 160, he is not a large MW. He typically enters the ring around 170-172. We have guys who are fighting at weight classes where they have to lose 30+ pounds to make weight (Crawford, Spence, Mikey, Broner, Tank to name a few). Canelo was easily shredding 15 - 20 pounds to get down to 160. If he goes to 168 where he only has to lose 5 pounds, he is fighting CW's who drain 20-30 pounds to get to 168. Big disadvantage. Besides, there is no money to be had at 168 unless he fights Canelo.

"yeah we wanna fight froch or chavez"-when ward came calling he got cold feet...featherfisted andre ward....too much ability for golovkin...he wanted to cherrypick old guys about to retire or lazy bums who smoke weed and dont train hard.....
understand that....
the guy laughed at canelo for fighting khan and turned around and fought brook lol
the guy doesnt have a decisive win over a guy rated higher than say B-/C level.....

and golovkin had lemiuex lined up....ward didnt ask him to break that fight off or cancel it...he said "go ahead and fight that fight...and when youre done we can get this deal done"....they said "NO" within minutes

That's exactly what he did. That's exactly what he did.
Why are you lying?
Granted Ward said something else at a later time, but at first he wanted GGG to not fight.

Is it because these later years at 168 the guys are very big? I thought GGG wanted Chavez Jr. or Froch at the full 168 back in 2015. Those guys certainly weren’t small SMWs.
But he was always bigger than Canelo at 160. You're saying Golovkin and his professional team don't know about bench pressing or a different diet to easily move to 168-175?
In any case, I think he'd move up for the right fight (that fight being a trilogy fight with Canelo). But in the meantime he'll fight at whichever weight a good enough offer comes in for.
In any case, I am sure his next fight after the mandatory will be a unification fight with Ryoto Murata. They have some massive stadiums there including one that seats over 80k people. You put GGG vs. Murata and a Inoue vs. Donaire 2 on the same card and you might fill one of those big venues up.

Golovkin is all talk, he is content with fighting easy fights. Charlo just won his rematch, you hear Golovkin calling him out? no he is going to get some amazon prime delivery driver for his spring fight.Originally posted by WBC WBA IBF View PostLet's assume that's true. That the average fan can't remember which Charlo is which.
THEY STILL KNOW THE CHARLOS EXIST.
You see....I told you motherfu ckers can't even tell the Charlo's apart. This idiot thinks Jermall fought this weekend.
