but when featherfisted andre ward called it was "NO" within minutes....all so he could wait almost another 2 years to chase canelos tail/money.....he fought dom wade and kell brook while he waited....i mean literally brought up a WW after making fun of canelo for it

thats why ward made HBO pay him to spar alex brand on TV....he basically pimped an extra nights pay out of HBO....he said "if you want me to fight kova youre gonna pay me to do this"...ward didnt need the alex brand fight to get ready for kovalev....he was not really happy with the way hbo and boxing media treated him vs how they treated golovkin....and ward had been inactive for a stretch so he basically said "youre gonna throw in some free money for me thanks"
