Exactly. People cried so hard when Canelo “only” got 6 months for Clen, when both Morales and Francisco Vargas tested positive before their respective fights and were allowed to go through with the fight. AND for the first time ever, Canelo was made to undergo a hair follicle test.

Athletes only have jobs and paychecks because fans are interested. Sports writers only have jobs and paychecks because fans are interested. Websites, sports channels, sports magazines, sports talk radio, streaming services and pay per views are only relevant because fans are interested.

Combat fans buy tickets to boxing, MMA, K1, or even tough guy competitions because they are passionate and interested. Chavez JR has shown on several occasions he will give a half effort or stop dead when things get hard. So if you have an interested fan base, there to see a fight, money and time invested, and you are perceived to quit and have used up the good will of those fans before, you get booed. I guess Chavez thinks that his son is royalty and the rules don't apply. Quitting is not tolerated well by the fans especially the way that Jr quitted. Plus they claim all these fouls that occur during the fight that caused the injury.

First Jr was saying that his right hand was broken and now it is the nose. On top of that he had drug screening issues, weight issues, etc.

Danny came in cautious for a first few rounds know that he was going to fight a much bigger possibly dirty fighter. It gave the impression that Jr was doing good. As soon as Danny got comfortable and opened up the fight was over.
