An elegant and very diplomatic response from Morales ( If the translations are correct at least) We lose so much of a boxers articulation with poor translation on so many occasions. What he said is absolutely fair and accurate. Of course having said that...it's a father and son, what is Snr supposed to say? His love is unconditional and I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for him to watch his son sully his name like this and worse than that, underachieve in such dramatic and painstaking fashion, time after time.

Listen Chavez can't really believe that. As a father he is just defending his son I think. He knows it was soft as **** and wrong plus the video of his initial reaction tells you everything. If he just hung in there another round or two and got stopped in a firefight everyone would have said great effort, good job but he's Chavez Jr and has gotten more opportunities that he hasn't earned or deserved and money than alot of true top talents and fighters who deserve it could ever dream of.
