I’m sick of so called fans of the sport calling everyone who isn’t at the absolute pinnacle of the sport “bums” and guys who haven’t yet attained the absolute pinnacle of the sport, “hype jobs”.
Is Commey a bum then? From your description of a prospect with 15 fights beating a "high level" guy, it sounded like you were saying he is. I called Commey a bum before the fight too. I knew he wasn't much. Commey and Linares are the same level. C. And winning belts means nothing these days.

Dude I’ve had the privilege of seeing mayweather, pacquaio, Mikey, and Loma in person in recent years. Floyd and Loma within arms reach..Loma makes manny look full sized by comparison. Lomachenko is wayyy smaller than people think he is...way smaller than I thought he’d be.

Tiny ****ers man but they would woop our ass
Floyd ain’t that small and I posted a picture up here a few years ago about meeting him at the diamond district. Floyd definitely walks around heavier than folks think he does, that led to a massive argument. I’ll put it this way..Loma is short but he’s also hella skinnier than you think.

Linares is a top 10 fighter in every division he’s fought in. Has won world titles and has second to none offensive gifts.

He ain’t elite the higher up in weight he’s gone but the Linares that beat Chololo Larios is world class.

That’s a bit of a stretch there. I said most prospects face a bunch of no hopers to begin their career...as in a bunch of guys with losing records. I didn’t mean literally every fighters first 10-15 opponents are bums lol. I don’t classify commey as a “bum” and Lopez is stepping up quick.

I mean wtf is the point of even watching the sport if all but a handful of fighters are “bums”?

                1. First he was a classic HBO hypejob due to being under freddie roach,

                2. then he became over hyped by brits and goldenboy shills for beating the likes of crolla, campbell, etc.

                3. then lomo fanboys started over hyping him because linares dropped him.
                I think he’s a sound boxer
He's not great but does everything well
                But definitely not scrap

Did you see how Loma looked against Campbell? Campbell looked like he was boxing his little Ukranian stepbrother. Loma got dropped by Linares and stunned a few times by Campbell, so I don't see him surviving at 140. Loma is elite, not invulnerable.

He probably could move back down to 130 easily, but 126 might be too big a cut for him now. He was actually going to fight Rigo at 126, but Rigo pulled out. Loma's small for 135, especially compared to Lopez, but I agree with you on it being an invalid excuse. Loma's dropped all 4 of his lightweight opponents, and finished 2 of them. He's the guy to beat at 135.
