He didn't look any much smaller than Lopez. Is Lopez a midget too? Camera angle? Lol..

What bums do is get knocked out by lesser opposition. Linares a bum.

Linares is B level at best. Sick of people over hyping him. Here is the timeline of this hypejob:

        1. First he was a classic HBO hypejob due to being under freddie roach,

        2. then he became over hyped by brits and goldenboy shills for beating the likes of crolla, campbell, etc.

        3. then lomo fanboys started over hyping him because linares dropped him.

I can no longer question him and his fathers confidence. Looked outstanding in his biggest step up so who the F#CK are we to say "HE IS NOT READY"

Good Luck to him vs Loma and may the best man win Lets Go!

“Bums at the highest level”? That makes no sense. Like I said, we obviously have different definitions of what a “bum” is. I’m not trying to say linares is some A+ elite fighter here, but I take exception with you dismissing him as a bum just to take a swipe at loma.

Nah...bums are what you see prospects in with for their first 10-15 fights, even then I don’t like using the term. A “bum” would never find himself fighting top ranked fighters or in world title fights.

This is a fair post...there’s a big difference between a “bum” and a B level fighter.

You said at the highest level. Even at his best, he was far from a high level. You used that term first, not me. If he's a high level, what would that make the 4 pedestrians who KOed him? Super elite?

Linares isn't a B level, never ever was at anytime in his career.

Whatever he is, he fought top rated fighters in world title fights...”bums” don’t make it to that level. I don’t rate him highly, but he’s not a bum lol. He clearly has skills and talent, but is just a couple notches below the best. I’m sick of so called fans of the sport calling everyone who isn’t at the absolute pinnacle of the sport “bums” and guys who haven’t yet attained the absolute pinnacle of the sport, “hype jobs”.
