    How good is Dubois?

I think Dubois is already capable of beating any HW not named Wilder or Fury.

At only 21 there’s obviously no need to rush him, I’m not saying I want to see him put in a world title fight next or anything but he has serious potential.

Dubois-Joyce in April looks likely providing Joe gets past Marco Huck. That fight could be HUGE domestically. It would be reminiscent of Lewis-Mason and is the fight to make next!

    I really like Dubois
I think he’s being brought up the proper way
I think he can make a lot of noise in the heavyweight division
Although today they took a step backwards with their choice of opponent

I think he's the future of the division! I don't think he hits as hard as Wilder or even AJ, however so far at least, he's shown a stellar chin, patience, stamina and his technique seems to improve every fight.

The fight with Gorman was a great measuring stick as far as i'm concerned

I think he is absolute truth. Knew it the way he dismantled Gorman. That wasn't supposed to be THAT easy of a fight but Dubois was damn near perfect in that fight.

Future world champion, the UK has another champ in the making in the HW division!

Frank Warren is using his tried and tested technique of crushing a line-up of tomato cans whilst hyping his fighter to the moon. The only fights which really tell us anything about Danny Doobwah are the Kevin Johnson fight, the Richard Lartey fight and the Nathan Gorman fight. Frank likes to put Danny in with fighters who will stand in range and just get blown away. Kingpin Johnson gave a lot of movement and was very negative, and Dooby didn't know what to do. He looked trashy in that fight, but to give the lad credit he has progressed since then and shows a lot more variety and thinking in his work. The next notable fight, he came out trying to get the explosive knockout against Lartey and got caught himself way too much. If he had been fighting a top 10 opponent that night he'd have got chinned, no doubt in my mind. He did actually get wobbled by Lartey. But then, he fought Gorman in a fight that many saw as a 50/50 fight, and just completely outclassed and destroyed him. Danny looked a million dollars in that fight, and the real deal.

He has the power to get anybody out of there, he is just still incredibly green. It isn't easy because they need to match him a little tougher with some durable opponents, but at the same time they don't want some wily fox who is going to make him look bad or stink the place out. They do need to up the level of opposition in 2020 though. No more African and Asian imports who fight in sheds and sports halls in their homelands. Joe Joyce would be a great fight in 2020 and I think Danny has the beating of him. Compared to Joe, Danny would look slick and very fluid with his boxing, it's just if Joe caught him with one of those clubbing blows it might be curtains for young Dooby. Let's look at some possible opponents for 2020 then... Tom Schwarz, Joe Joyce, Jermaine Franklin, David Price and Agit Kabayel. What we'll probably get in 2020... Mark De Mori, Chazz Witherspoon, Alex Leapai, Alexander Dimitrenko and Joey Abell.

He's still a work in progress.. got caught with some good shots against Gorman.. If that was a 268 Ruiz not sure Dubois beats him right now.. give it 2 years and he'll be somewhere in the Top 5.. he did very well against AJ in sparring though so who knows, could be fast-tracked..

Make him have a couple of fights in the top 10-25 rank before moving him up. He needs to get some rounds will skilled fighter(s). But a lot will really depend on how Frank can manage (or afford) to hype him.

How much did they make from yesterday's event? and how much does Dubois gets these days? Not that I am into other people's payday, but it will give us the story of what kind of fights Frank can afford to make.

Probably this is correct. Dubois is still in progress.

Yeah I was at the Gorman fight, and fancied Gorman to win tbh, Dubois really impressed me that night and he won easily. I think he has all the tools.

Yeah it was a poor opponent, that didn’t tell us anything we already know.

Hopefully it’s Joyce next or at least someone who will pose a threat. Bring Bryant Jennings back over...
