            You don't see many boxers as stiff and robotic like Bruno. He was also skittish as fu ck.

            Haye would have boxed circles around him until he gassed out in his corner.

              Holmes never liked Tyson & thought he was a thug. He also said he'd be dead or in jail (he was right) within a few years. He'd never admit that Tyson was just better than him.

              Fact of the matter is, Holmes had something left, which is why he was a good fighter into the early '90s, who could beat a Ray Mercer and was never knocked out by anyone else, including a prime Evander Holyfield, Oliver McCall, or Butterbean

                Fought Spinks 4-19-86
                Next fight, Tyson, 1-22-88 Age; south side of 39
                Mike was 31

                People say Holmes had a legit run after Tyson....Slow it down. He fought TWO credible opponents. Holy and Mercer. The other 30 or so guys he fought were pay the bills type fights.

                  Did those 2 other guys wipe Holmes out the way Tyson did?

                  No.

                  Holyfield never even knocked him down.

                  And he almost beat Oliver McCall. Only lost by 1 point on 2 cards. McCall also never knocked Holmes down.

                  Fact is, even though Holmes fought into the 21st Century and old age, nobody wiped him out other than Tyson, periodt

                      I don’t think there’s any evidence to suggest Haye could comfortably beat Bruno.

                      I don’t even disagree with Bruno being stiff or not being able to take a shot etc but Haye did absolutely NOTHING at HW.

                      Bruno had a decent jab and legit power I think that’d be enough to deal with Haye.

                      Let’s not forget Bruno gave Lewis legitimate trouble and has a very solid win over McCall. Haye on the other hand just fought absolute no hopers and then cashed out vs Klitschko. Good cruiserweight but sh** HW.
