 Charlo has no animal instinct
Every time Harrison was showboating not once did he jump on him
And then when he finally had him hurt same thing
Anyway Harrison would of never won this fight unless he ko’d Charlo
Charlo won the first round and the second by 10-8
All the other rounds were pretty much Harrison dominating Charlo
All the bodywork he did in the earl rounds were paying off for Harrison as he had significantly slowed down Charlo
But in the back of my head I knew that Charlo has that power to ko someone and that’s exactly how it played out
He caught Harrison with nice combination punching and I thought it could of been stopped after the second knockdown
But it wasn’t , Reiss didn’t feel the need from that and then bullchit stop Charlo’s punches were not even connecting , he hit a lot gloves and air
And that’s my point about Charlo not having that animal instinct to finish a fight
If he does fight Williams , imo it will be like the Harrison fights , where the better boxer will dominate but Charlo bring more power , so the equalizerComment

PBC once again put on another great card, great fight with lots of action and skills involved plus drama

My respect goes even more to Harrison for getting up everytime and never quitting and also to Mell Charlo for showing the mental fortitude and focus to be a two time world champ an show others how to take the championship from the champion!

 Well done overall all round!

Hopefully we get Mell Charlo vs J rock sometime next year for unificationComment

 Good fight

Good fight. I had Harrison up 3 rounds. I think this is as good as charlo is ever going to be. He’s an aggressive boxer, solid chin, likes to come forward, not the best boxer, average defense, he’s not an intelligent boxer. Harrison is what a C, C+ fighter? This charlo is a B fighter in a weak division and I’d favor him over jrock and Hurd. He needs to go up in weight and try to really prove himself.Comment

How do you have Harrison ahead that much, yet consider Charlo that much better?Good fight. I had Harrison up 3 rounds. I think this is as good as charlo is ever going to be. Harrison was in full control of the fight (well, not according to the paid off judges) but the lapse in concentration and Charlo never letting up got to him and finally nailing him was inevitable. I had a feeling this would happen even though I was rooting for him, kind of the story of this guy's career. Great boxing skills but horrible durability and chin.
Yes... in the championship rounds Harrison faded -- he wasn't able to come forward and dominate Charlo from inside anymore... but it was a pleasure to watch Tony boxing -- he worked with Manny Steward...Helluva fight. Just goes to show you can't really trust punch stats. I thought Harrison really landed the crisper (not necessarily harder) punches overall. Also, I'd see Tony land a jab and snap Charlo's head back and the punch wasn't tallied by punch stats and Charlo would counter with a hook to the glove and it was counted.

Harrison dictated the tempo and was winning rounds. A lot of rounds felt like Jermell would land early and Tony would land late. I give Charlo alot of credit because he continued to try to land his shots and pursue his gameplan. I think the end came because Harrison got fatigued again, the showboating was a symptom of that (IMO). He was trying to hide the fact he was gassing. Props to Harrison for being gracious in defeat.

Yes... and Reiss did a very good job...Great fight. The atmosphere was electric. Great refereeing as well tonight. Early stoppages are ruining this sport. Most refs would have stopped Balderas after the first kd, Kiladze when he was on spaghetti legs and Harrison after the second kd in round 11 and third overall. They were given a chance to make a comeback. ...Comment

It was an off night for Charlo. I think he’s the better fighter and won the first time. I didn’t agree at all with the score cards. No idea how charlo was up a couple rounds.
They might as well run it a 3rd time.Comment
