How does anything he said seem fake? There are many ways it can go wrong before even ending up on his device. Maybe a specific DAZN server he happened to be on was overloaded, bad routing issues, ISP issues and many other possible factors other than blaming his device.

There was a huge criticism on here when they started up , particularly given there original fights.

Now they are a year or so in they have obviously signed some real big names - arguably the two biggest with Canelo and Joshua - and have consistently had fights throughout the year. Unconfirmed reports suggest a combination of Canelo, KSI/Logan and Ruiz Joshha2 they increased subscriptions by 500k.

In the same period - Showtime has had a real shocking year? Has the opinion concensus now turned?

We went through all this skeptic theory earlier in the year and heard it all before. As I said earlier it doesn’t matter.

My brother don't watch boxing like he used to.
I found out that he recently signed up for a DAZN subscription
not because of boxing but because of other sports like NFL.
I don't watch football and I haven't asked why he had to when NFL is mostly on free tv,
but I guess he wants to see side shows, more commentaries, in other words,
more full-pledged hours dedicated to it, especially now that the superbowl is looming on the horizon.

That’s what I’ve seen. Early on there were actual press reports / postings on twitter etc of people will issues. I haven’t seen anything for months of that sort of thing now.

I’ve never used the app myself of course as I don’t live in America though

Joshua-Ruiz 2 would have been a $75 ppv if it was on Fox,Showtime or ESPN.

Jacobs-Chavez Jr. would also have been a $75 PPV on Fox, Showtime or ESPN.

That’s $150 in fights in one month for a $100 yearly subscription.

I agree. If you are a boxing fan, then how can you hate DAZN? All boxing is good boxing.

Unfortunately, my DAZN subscription runs out at the end of March of next year. I was grandfathered from the $20 per month and the $99 a year cost because I was one of the first to sign up for it back in September of 2018 for the $9.99 cost.

Now I must make a choice whether or not to subscribe to the yearly subscription of $99 or the monthly subscription of $20 per month. I think I am going to choose the former; The yearly subscription of $99.

For me it’s mostly about DAZN’s roster more than anything, otherwise I would support it. I can already stream the fights on Sky, so I can watch the fights I wanna watch anyway.
