If haymon provides AJ and Crawford with better opponents than they usually face, it shouldn’t matter whether it’s his top guy or one of his second tier guys.

Crawford/Porter is the best ww fight Crawford will have to date. It should be a really good clash of style that will force Crawford to show all his skills if he wants to win.

Ruiz provides the upset of the decade and pushed AJ to use his skills in the rematch.

Why exactly are you minimizing it if we get quality fights we all enjoy.

It's not the fight we want to see though. We'd rather see Pacquiao or Spence fight Crawford. You know actual title holders. We'd have rather seen Wilder or Ortiz fight Joshua. Ruiz getting lucky doesn't change that we didn't get what we wanted. Haymon is preventing the fights we want.

He also gave you something you didn't expect, which led to a great AJ performance that you wanted to see. You also could get something else you want-Crawford in with someone that will improve his resume.

Is there any ever fight that you will accept if it isn't exactly what you want?

Because he's got Danny Garcia and Manny Pacquiao to seal the belts at 147lbs in PPV fights, and Bob Arum is still calling for a 50/50 share of the event when the fighter he controls has already failed twice on PPV (with Top Rank having zero plans to try again with Crawford).

              It's still prizefighting

Exactly. It's too bad nobody in the current era has the verbal delivery Floyd did.

I don't think even Crawford would go THAT far down. Collazo isn't really a big "name". He would want someone who made history.

                    Who better than...

                      ...
I only use the computer for NSB, and I can't stay connected all the time...

... and I can't "refute" what you said as long as, so far, there was no answer from Arum/Crawford...

( I like Porter -- I rooted for him vs Brook, for instance)...
