At least it was a good excuse and he took the loss very well. He admited that he lost.
Another thing is that in boxing I alway hear excuss just maybe twice where a person next gave an excuse it Tszyu-Hatton and Corralles-Castillo 2 where Corrales disregard the reporter by saying that he wont take Castillo win for wiegh-in.
But in boxing I hear worse excuse from that. so it normal in boxing terms to give out excuse
What do you want him to say that he was well prepared and got his asskicked even though he is very well prepared, like that people wont get rematchs nor will the get big fights

Tarver got his ass twisted bottomline. I could understand his reasons if for the first 5 rounds he came out and made the competitive and then in the later rounds fell off. That wasn't the case he looked horrible from the opening bell not because he trained to hard but because he was facing the best defensive fighter other than floyd and got schooled.Comment

Beating an illustrious boxer who was out of his prime twice doesn't make you a big man like Tarver thought he was. I still smile as I hear about Hopkins destroying Tarver, Tarver's jab was terrible he didn't even try to establish it or anything. Plus he made the bet that he would kayo BHOP in the 5th and he about got himself kayoed..I can't wait for Diego to come to his rescue
