Why are you on Canelos p e n is and not Marquez?
Marquez sparked out your boy Pac. Couldn’t care much for Marquez but he was a badass boxer and counterpuncher. You know Cotto and Canelo wanted those rematches. Floyd didn’t entertain industry questions for those rematches other than continually saying “Cotto and Canelo are helluva fighters...difficult competitors etc...” even during his ending contract on Showtime. When Floyd retired and fought other guys, non boxers, he went into bozo mode as usual. You’re a diehard Pacfan. I find it funny you defend Floyd who made a joke out of Manny.

    It’s CANELO’s era. Just saying

Floyd schooled Marquez like no other, I was surprised how he totally out boxed JMM like he was an amatuer that shouldnt share the ring with him, and JMM went life and death with Manny 4 times.

Easiest wins in Floyds career Canelo JMM Manny .

Floyd a puss-e. He and Haymon carried the Maidana series all the way to Berto while Thurman’s fresh and Lara was waiting his mando for the WBA Super for a hot minute.

          Maidana PPV x 2
          Pac PPV
          Berto PPV

Haymon gets 10% from all that. Are you this naive?

but I don't think the lesson learned in school that day was so much about ring strategies as pre fight contract demands.

It took Floyd 12 rounds to beat him, not much of a schooling.

A schooling is when a fighter eviscerates his opponent in less than 2 rounds, like PAC did Hatton.

I just re-watched the fight last night and boy oh boy was it a complete textbook destruction on all fronts. Can you think of a same level or better example? Floyd was right though - the more accolades Canelo gets, the sweeter that W becomes.
                    Lennox Lewis vs Holyfield..
