Statistically speaking, the British have a higher IQ than the Americans do, but it's not by a whole lot I don't think and they're both top 10 or 15 in the world. I remember this (or part of it at least) because I was reading some random magazine while enduring a 5 hour delay in bratislava airport last year. All the Asian nations scored significantly higher
I remember Singapore topped and laughing at how ironic this was because i'd spent some time there with a client a few months prior, thinking he was the dumbest fence post i've ever had to deliver a project with
