That sucks. I thought we are gonna see Charlo-Eubank. That’s a better action fight.
Jermall Charlo vs. Canelo in May?

You rather see that fight over Canelo/Charlo?? From the potential fights for Charlo, I'd rank them like this:
1. Charlo/Canelo
2. Charlo/Andrade
3. Charlo/Derevyanchenko
4. Charlo/Eubank
Though I'd be fine with any of them of course, but Eubank fight is at the bottom. In terms of pure action, Charlo/Derevyanchenko over the Andrade fight and even probably over the Canelo fight.Comment

Eddie is putting YouTube fights on Andrade cards to sell tickets. This isn't a YouTube card. This is a boxing card using YouTube to sell tickets. And the sandwich between Farmer and Andrade. Do you understand what's going on?Comment

And if you can't provide what you say with facts(links) then quit posting nonsense!
Sergey made the same amount that Canelo offered him. He was just trying to call Canelo's bluff to get more money from Canelo but Canelo told him to piss off!
If that doesn't fit your agenda then IDK what to tell you...
If you can prove me wrong then i have no problem apologizing to you and admitting i was wrong.Last edited by Dreamer213; 12-20-2019, 11:09 AM.Comment

Now this is what I am talking about. Two gladiators standing on the dime trading and exchanging punches with one another. Somebody may get knocked out.
Who wants to watch some boring ass fight with Andrade running around the ring without throwing any punches; I don't? Over time that shit sucks.Comment

Do you remember his first offer to Charlo when DAZN first started? It was $2-3 mil per fight 3 fights a year. That was when DAZN had leverage. Eddie said Charlo has to sign to DAZN to get the middleweights. Now fast forward til today. How many of those fights have happened or are even close to happening?Originally posted by MastrangeloNah, that sounds ****** and is flawed logic.
Let's now say that Charlo turns down 5-7 Milion like You said He should - and Hearn doesn't increase the offer.
In result, Charlo fights for less money on PBC, let's say against Derevyanchenko. Still good fight, but I'd prefer Andrade anyway.
Will You be happy about it?
Canelo isn't fighting GGG
GGG isn't fighting Andrade
Who has leverage now? Bumping it up from $2-3 mil for a long term deal to $7 mil for one fight with no deal should really tell you all you need to know.
We just saw this with Dervychenko & Wilder.Comment

I strongly doubt Canelo would return to 160 without a tuneup Vs a guy like Murata first. You forget that Canelo chooses who he fights, not DAZN. They tried to dictate his opponent last September and Canelo made them tap out quickly. He holds all the leverage.
I get it, you're using this made up rumor to justify Jermall possibly rejecting the offer Hearn has put up for him to fight Andrade.
GBP is grooming Jaime Munguia to take Jermall's belt, they will not put Canelo in there with him until Jaime gets a shot at him.Comment

how about when golovkin turned down a career high payday to fight ward to wait and fight dom wade and then drag up a WW kell brook(after he made fun of canelo for fighting khan) so he could land the big one?Originally posted by MastrangeloOk, but what's wrong with making 7 milion in May, winning big fight and then asking for more money for next fight as unified champion and number 1 fighter in the division?
Really men, that's the thing that You seem to miss. Winning big fight is ALWAYS good for You, sport perspective or business perspective.
He can turn it down and more money can be there later on or not. You win fight like that, You'll come out bigger star guaranteed.
You have that mindset that fighters shouldn't fight unless They have to.. Weird to see from active poster on boxing forum.
Only way that your points make any sense is if You're not a boxing fan and then You can have an argument why You don't want to see top fighters fighting each other.
X
The fact that DAZN middleweights don't fight each other as much as I'd hope is well taken, but that's different topic.
the guys defending the pbc didnt create the mindset you speak of...we are simply mirroring it...because these guys told us the same stuff when their guy was ducking and they needed to defend himComment

its a different subject but its also not...its relatable to the topic/fighters were discussing right now...if its considered ok for one guy to do it then its ok for another to do something similarOriginally posted by MastrangeloYeah but that's completely different subject. If You want to create topic about that that's fine, but We're talking about Charlo vs Andrade currently.
You have that "Network/promotional WAR" mentality. I'm all around fight fan so I apply same rules and logic to everyone.
As for Golovkin and definitely don't like that He's clearly avoiding top middleweights now - just waiting for Canelo payday.
Going back to Charlo vs Andrade - If Fox was to match or beat the offer here, men I'm all for it to be on PBC. I don't care, it's great fight wherever it lands - I just don't think it's good for the sport when fighters just try to squeeze as much money from the sport as They can without competing.
Fight and compete, whoever wins wins. Everyone makes money anyway, if Charlo loses so what? He's still top notch fighters, still very rich men - and only idiots will critise him. Winner will be step above, but He'll earn that position in the ring so who can complain about that.
i agree it sucks when fighters do try to squeeze the most money out of everything....but thats the world we live in....its better to accept it and understand it than to just complain about it...cause its not likely to stop anytime soon
the whole "network war" thing exists...and likely will continue to exist.....i just accept it and try to understand it....instead of dreaming about a perfect world we will likely NEVER seeComment
