Fury Planning To Fight Aggressive And Try KO Wilder...

He chose SugarHill Steward an offensive-minded trainer, someone who trains fighters differently from the defensive style Fury usually adopts...

Seems like Fury trying to seal the deal and not leave it in the judges hands by training to try KO Wilder...

Wilder dont have a great chin, he was ko'ed by a cruiserweight in Russia and Fury even buzzed him in their fight, Ortiz stunned him, Washington stunned him, Sconiers dropped him.. Fury probably thinks that if he can land more power shots on him throughout the fight he'll have a good shot at the KO in later rounds..

If so I imagine he'll be trying to fight on the inside to nullify some of Wilder's leverage/power

Then Fury would get laid out honestly, he has no pop and fighting aggressively would just play right into Wilder's hands. He has the skills to completely outbox Wilder like the first fight and this would be foolish.

Could be.. he put up a clip sparring Tommy Fury and they were swinging body shots at close range with a lot of inside positioning...

Well he doesn't hit hard but he's a big guy at the big weight and he's put down fighters with solid chins before. I would say the more aggressive the more open to a Wilder counter but to be fair fighters seem to be able to outbox and land on wilder before he gets that right hand in.

Thats the thing... It could backfire on him and play right into Wilder's hands if he tries to play pressure fighter.. Wilder could wait on him patiently and time him with a right like he did with Ortiz..

Wilder will fuck him up if he does because unlike last time Deontay will be able to catch him flush on the jaw. In addition, Fury would leave his chin wide open and exposed and with those two gashes he sustained on his eye good luck with that strategy.

I think Fury is going about this all wrong
His hiring SugarHill could be all wrong without having enough time to actually master his more minded offensive approach
Thinking that Wilder , for his sake , has learned something from their first fight
I don’t think he’ll go in there and swing for the hills from the get go , didn’t work last time
But trying to make Fury more aggressive on short notice seems to me a suicide mission
If it’s the case , evening if he tries to smother Wilder , my thinking is he will get caught at some point
Just not enough time to master it , reaction time and timing will be totally off

I think fury don't need to do too much different. But instead of just making him miss. Make him pay when he misses.
Because wilder don't get embarrassed or disheartened missing

Dont think so, I cant see him fighting that much different given how much success he had. Probably looking to punish Wilder more when he misses his shots. Ben Davidson was very negative in his instructions
