...I was ready to come in this thread and give praise to a living legend...And you just had to throw Mayweather in there. You just HAD too. Couldn't resist, huh...Considering his birthday just passed, it would've been nice to have a thread where all the boxing fans on this site could've got together and reminisced on the greatness of Manny Pacquiao. Unfortunately, that's not gonna happen because the troll in you (and yes, trolling by way of negligence is still trolling) had to mention he who is not to be named.

Sorry from a true Pacquiao fan.

I really liked how he fought Margarito. That is a fun fight to rewatch. The height difference is quite remarkable. Although I think Margarito took something out of Pacquiao, it was a clear win for the Pac-Man.

The boxer that got me into boxing, the legend himself. After a few years of lackluster fights at TR, Pac vs Thurman was one of the most exciting fights i’d seen. Wish he would retire before he gets hurt but he always remain my all time favorite fighter for being the reason i’m a big boxing fan

one of the best 25 or so fighters to ever put on a set of boxing gloves.
the guy started at 100 lbs and dominated a solid era at WW. it's basically never been done. guys have gone up that much in weight, but not that many weight classes with world titles. it's usually big middleweights who make it to HW who have that kind of jump in weight. and those guys can be counted on one hand for the most part. fitzsimmons, langford, greb, jones, toney, these are some of the very best fighters ever.

Maybe the greatest fighter of all time. Terrified Fraud Duckweather for six years until he was finally forced into facing Pac by Showtime boss Les Moonves. A hundred times more courage and exciting than Fraudweather with his crowd pleasing style and willingness to give fans value for their money. 8-10 punch blinding and accurate punch combinations were incomparable. Pacquiao was far better than Floyd, but not as protected and cowardly to duck and dodge prime threats. Pacquiao is an all time wonder of the boxing world and he saved the sport from being destroyed by fraudweather's business ducking handpicking approach and boring rigged sparring session fake fights.
