He defended his world title on Fox and 2.4 million people watched. He has the most important belt in the third most important division in boxing. He makes 4-5 million a fight and is now being offered 7 million. If that doesn't make him important at all, you have a strange definition of important.

Fox is a public network. 2.4m is nothing. I have no idea why you keep trying to talk it up and compare it to HBO or DAZN. You're not ******, and you know that comparison is idiotic.

Yeah.. about that belt. I'm a pretty solid follower of boxing, and I had no idea Charlo had the WBC. I don't even remember how/when Canelo gave up the belt. Charlo won the belt against a nobody.

Got a source for those 4-5m? I did a quick search and came up with 500k vs. Trout. And nobody cares how much Haymon supposedly pays his fighters under the table. I'd be shocked out of my boots if Jermall ever made more than a $2M purse - which is still VERY good.

why are idiots always complaining, stfu, fights dont happen overnight..and things happen eg fighters move to other divisions..or have a diff schedule, mandatories etc.

Nah. Eubanks Jr wouldn't be a good enough opponent. Sure, it'll be a step up but considering Charlo's opposition at 160 that wouldn't be saying much. Eubanks biggest wins ever came against a shot James DeGeale and Gary O'Sullivan. He's best known for coming up waaaaay short in the two big fights he didn't kill with silly negotiations.

Dervychenko on the other hand is a worthwhile opponent. I would love to see that fight.

No. It makes more sense to look for the biggest possible fights. I fully expect Canelo to stay at 168 which would elevate Murata to fully WBA Champion. When that happens you know Bob Arum and GGG's team will quickly line up a big unification fight in the 60,000 seat Saitima Arena. That will give 1 guy half the middleweight belts. If Andrade and Charlo fight that would give one guy the other half of the middleweight belts. That's both Charlo and Andrade's best chance at a fight with GGG by the end of 2020 or the start of 2021.

I already explained why he can't get the big dogs in his own network. He's putting in the work to make it happen and trying to get a fight with the next best guy. Charlo is busy talking lions only while not doing anything. He won't even fight the next best guy in PBC but he wants a shot at GGG.

He moved upto SMW just to fight in the WBSS and get some money that way..because he was outcast by hearn and frank warren (because of his dad). plus, like yarde, the lack of sparring didnt help him (duh). However he has improved his training.
He lost to Groves because groves used the reach advantage and eubank's vision was impaired the majority of that fight.
putting all that aside, he's a good name to have on your resume..and i think he beats Charlo and BJS today.

I think we're just going to have to agree to disagree. I am going to need to see Eubanks Jr step in there for a full fight with a decent middleweight before I feel he's worthy of a fight with one of the top guys at this point in his career.

whats being discussed is WHO IS MORE WELL KNOWN.

if one fighter fights on a giant, free, popular platform, with millions of viewers.

and the other fights on a small, expensive, obscure platform with no viewers.
