Trout should go fight former WW Jeff Horn. No need to move down 147 he can fight him at 154 or 160. He can also get paid handsomely if he fights him in Australia

always a bad idea for an old champ to move down in weight. The difference in speed. He's going to get hit with punches he doesn't see, and his punch resistance will be compromised.

Austin 'No Doubt' Trout vs. Terence Crawford at 147 OR 154. A good name for Crawford, a threat too. I like it

At his age, dropping weight isnt a good idea. Hope it works out for him though.

This is a brilliant move! Trout will be a problem at welterweight.. And I think he will stop these fighters at 147! Hopefully he loses the weight and retains energy and power! Trout still one of my favorites.. Win, lose or Draw! The boy has fought everyone! Has one of the dopest resumes out there! Yawl claim u want a fighter to not duck anyone.. And when they fight all of the best.. An lose some by sd.. Yawl jump on the next fighters bandwagon! I ride with Wilder, Trout, Tank, Spence, Charlo's, Broner, joyce, Thurman and Eubank.. Win, Lose or Draw! Im riding with these fighters till the end!

He’s been as high as 170lbs on fight night in the Canelo fight that i’m aware of. Idk how he’s gonna trim down to 147 and be 100%. I guess he got tired of losing to guys his own size and wants to see if he can have more success vs smaller fighters even if he’s probably going to be less healthy.

Trout is a threat to nobody at 147. Stop it.
