Any fight at that magnitude should be 55-45 at the most or 50-50. So what, if you typically make more. If you want the recognition as being great, pay the best to get in with you.

If you want all the $ and to have it easy, pick the guys that you know you'll beat. Me as a fan wants the fights made, so get it done. KO Wilder or Fury at 50-50 and your stock rises and you'll get paid more.

Us fans as grown men shouldnt count other men's money. Dont even tell us the split, just negotiate and make it happen. Only dicriders are interested in their checks

I cant argue with that. In my opinion if he takes that fight he is going to get a crazy amount of money regardless of the percentage and fair play to that.

A lot of people commenting in here aren't grown men from what I can tell, but great comment nonetheless.

It’s all good sounding all honourable and putting the competition and recognition above the monetary gain but that rarely happens. The biggest ever PPVs have never had 50-50 or even 55-45 splits. The closest was Mayweather-Pac at 60-40, other huge PPV events like Mayweather-McGregor, De la Hoya-Mayweather, Mayweather-Canelo all had one guy getting significantly more than the other for good reasons.

If Joshua does decide to concede 50% then good on him for being so honourable but again it’s not what other guys in his position have done unlike what your post is suggesting.

Hardly anyone that brings up splits, percentages or money in any form cares about who’s getting more but they are aware that an agreement is necessary and certain fighters asking for way more than they are worth can block fights.

That's right...it needs to be a 50/50 purse split now.

I knew Fast Eddie would finally come around.

In the end, nobody in Wilder's camp denied that. What they said was that Wilder could make more doing other things which was a way to stall and gain leverage and it looks like it paid off.

Paying either Wilder or Fury 50% today would be crazy because it wouldn't make financial sense. Neither fighter draws enough on their own to warrant that kind of money.

The Wilder Fury rematch will most certainly be successful and Hearn knows it because redemption sells and there is a real strong promoter involved.

Yes the rematch will be successful but that said, Hearn
is offering 50%..to the WINNER of Wilder/Fury. The WINNER will have elevated themselves enough to draw the financial support to cover their end of the 50%.

                    It's not complicated, it's not fandom...it's math, simple math. It's a business, it's math.
#1 your numbers are completely incorrect
#2 Hearn didnt make the offer you are incorrectly describing
#3 for the two reasons above, no need to read beyond your first two sentences.

He's off by $20 million, not sure where he got that 120 million figure, probably from his anus where AJ's fans get most of their opinions from.

According to ESPN it was 20 mil for Brazeale, 40 million for Joshua and 40 million for rematch.

Joshua got knocked out so none of this would've happened, at the end of the day Wilder make the right decision and will be making just as much money.

I've been saying since day 1 that they should've offerd 60/40 to Wilder, but they weren't even close to that. Eddie Hearn has admitted that the 50 million offer was real while all the morons on here acted like Al Haymon didn't have the money (the guy who had just made a 2 billion dollar deal with TV networks).

Roy Jones Jr. offered Hopkins 60/40 for their rematch which never happened, people with a brain put that on Hopkins for a being an idiot. I would've done the same had AJ made that offer, but they were nowhere near that until the dazn offer.

EDIT: Supposedly Hearn offered Wilder and Fury 60/40 for the April 13th Wembley date. I won't take back what I said before since they demanded it be in the UK, where it would make significantly less money (despite what UK fans want to believe even when Hearn himself says it).
