BTW....No, Shelly Finkle did a horrifically terrible job promoting what should have been the easiest heavyweight to promote. If Shelly was even a half decent promoter Wilder would have all the belts + double his net worth and still have Fury and everyone else out there for a few hundred million more. Finkle is lining his own pockets in the safest, longest route possible. A wannabe Bob Aurm lite without the brains.
Sounds like leveraging for your client. Shelly basically applied Nash equilibrium to wilders career from 2015 to now. I think we all know the 50/50 is dependent on a W. Sucks Povetkin wanted to stick a needle in his a$$. Think that W would have gotten wilder a bit more $$ in fights since that situation.

Paying either Wilder or Fury 50% today would be crazy because it wouldn't make financial sense. Neither fighter draws enough on their own to warrant that kind of money.
The Wilder Fury rematch will most certainly be successful and Hearn knows it because redemption sells and there is a real strong promoter involved.
Yes the rematch will be successful but that said, Hearn
is offering 50%..to the WINNER of Wilder/Fury. The WINNER will have elevated themselves enough to draw the financial support to cover their end of the 50%.
It's not complicated, it's not fandom...it's math, simple math. It's a business, it's math.
I think in an effort to sloppily add validity to a weak argument, you Joshualites purposefully ignore the fact that once Joshua lost to Ruiz, the $120 offer (2 fights plus 2 AJ fights) was moot as AJ was locked into a rematch with Ruiz.
As it stands, every Joshua only offer has been undervalued and Hearn just acknowledged it in that interview indirectly.

Do you just complain because your programed? Wilder has to first WIN or he gets nothing.
There is no question that AJ wants Wilder, everyone on the planet but the cult members acknowledge that. Wilder on the other hand, walking from 120 million, doesn't instill a lot of confidence.
I'll tell you one more thing, if Wilder loses he's done, there is no rematch clause and Fury will jump at the chance to fight AJ for 50% of a record breaking payday.
Scientology sucks...you should quit.

"In my opinion, I still don't necessarily think they are worth 50-50 - but now I can see the argument. And it's going to get to a stage where they will only take the fight if it's 50-50. And that's an AJ decision, that's not an Eddie Hearn decision. I don't go in there and say 'this is how it's going to be, it's 50-50 and it's done.' I'll tell AJ - 'this is the only way that you'll make this fight, is if you give them 50-50, what do you want to do?' And in my opinion, and I don't want to put words in his mouth because AJ is his own boss, but he wants those fights so badly - that [50-50] will probably be the deal."

How easily people forget that Ruiz beat Parker and got screwed. More over, the fight was originally supposed to be Wilder, then Miller, then Ortiz and Ruiz was the only fighter with the courage to actually fight. 20 to 1 made him 20 million in 1 outing that is.

You're so happy about a deal that would have required Wilder to fight at least 2 other people, but you hate that Wilder offered $50M and Hearn and Hearn Sr. confirmed it. You also completely forget that Joshua lost, and Wilder would be on his 3rd opponent by now. He also wouldn't be rematching Fury (which is more important than money to me). I've said more than once that I think that Fury beat Wilder (though history doesn't care about my opinion), and that Joshua is scared to fight that guy as well, but you automatically go back to bad-mouthing Wilder. Is it because I have Michael Jordan as an avatar? Are you sure I'm the one "programmed"?

As far as im concerned Anything over 30% to Wilder is a very good offer. Financial pull wise Joshua and Wilder are like Floyd Mayweather and Victor Ortiz. They are miles and miles apart. Wilder is a B side to Joshua's A side by a big distance. He is technically a C side. Like Brighton.

I was saying Wilder should've been offered 60/40 while AJ's fans were busy ignoring Eddie Hearn's own words and claiming the $50 million offer wasn't real. AJ should've taken it then, he declined the (real) offer and now he actually wants the fight so real offers are being made (although as others have pointed out, conveniently after Wilder has already agreed to 2 fights with Fury this year so this isn't happening until at least next december.
Non of wilder reps would sit with Eddie to show proof even when Eddie flew all the way to NY.
