I respectfully disagree. I'm not saying any should be a favorite over Wilder but let's not make Ortiz out to be anything more than he is: a skilled but very old fighter who's best win to date is a KO over Bryant Jennings. I rate several of those fighters above Ortiz.

The blind hate for Wilder is fueled by fear, but the detractors have become even more ridiculous. Whyte isnt even on Wilders radar and we all know he would be no match for Wilder anyway. This is the rematch everyone wanted and it's one of the biggest fights in the sport. And the reason these two are fighting is because AJ didn't want to fight either of themComment

AJ is Wilder's biggest money fight in the sport of boxing. Why would he say no to hundreds of millions of dollars, that doesn't even make sense.
Wilder has been trying to fight AJ since 2016, but Eddie keeps stalling and cock-blocking the fight.
Eddie is scared of Wilder knocking out his cash cow.
WIlder vs Fury are rigged business alliance fake fights.Comment

Haymon and Arum are so desperate that they need to do a second fake rematch. Which means the first rematch in Feb will end in some kind of fake controversy. Then the third fight will probably be another fake draw so each maintains their value.
So obviously rigged it's laughable.
Is anybody ****** enough to think Haymon or Arum would let Wilder of Fury lose to each other for $5m which would kill their leverage to get $100m vs Joshua? Is anybody really that ******?Comment

As long as I know who the best is and that the best are fighting each other (as they always should be) than that's all the hell I ask for as a boxing fan. That's the whole point of this right? Or is it to cheerlead for whomever your favorite fighter is? Since you know what I'd "best hope for" you tell me.Comment

Think Matchroom has an Incel-only hiring policy. Criticizing Wilder resume is fair. Assuming you know all the facts regarding the negotiations, power plays and fine print clauses at work in the failed Wilder-Joshua negotiations from 2018 are naive. And defending the laughable 2x doper Whyte because he and Hearn paid off the notoriously crooked UKAD is comicalComment

They should do Joshua-Pulev with Usyk-Chisora on the undercard for the vacant WBO. Winners fight each other in their next fights and all three titles are instantly re-unified. That's two fights while Wilder and Fury fight twice. Undisputed fight right out of the gate in 2021. I'd be down for that. I guess Whyte could derail that if demands his 2021 WBC mandatory. Joshua could fight one of the WBA sub-champs in the meantime.Comment
