Lol!! 2 mil in his wet dreams!! Comparison to Tyson/Lewis/Holyfield is ridiculous!! Wilder v Fat Flabby Fury was decent the 1st time....the 2nd time around should b pretty much the same - decent with sporadic action.

Nearly spat out my coffee when I read this....it won’t even crack 450k unless it’s a PPV costing 10 dollars lol
Arum is a octogenarian lunatic

I am sure it will be do better than a lot of people think but no way it eclipses something like Tyson-Holyfield or Tyson-Lewis.
They really need to build it up ASAP and market it like crazy but everyone knows they won't spend the money.
Seems like it has all the ingredients to do well. American born killer with a warrior spirit and an entertaining very large gypsy man competing to see who the baddest man in the world is.
Perhaps people just have too many options for entertainment these days to ever see numbers like we used to.
I think it can sell well but neither guy it appears is marketed right and that's a shame.

Dear Bob,
If you want the fight to do even half of those 2 million PPVs, get off your a$$ and go promote the fight instead of simply daydreaming about it. It just 2 months remaining and you haven't even announced it. When are you going to build the fight?
No doubt, you're having trouble selling tickets with such poor promotional skills.

Let's see. Wilder's last fight sold 7k in tickets and they loved about the PPV numbers because they were so low. And Furys last fight sold 4k tickets...soooooo yep, 2 million PPV buys it is!!! Hahahahaha. Man, where do they come up with this stuff? Also, the fight is 2 months away and there is no announcement, no venue, no promos, nothing. Maybe Arum should get some of that together first before saying how many PPV buys it'll get hahaha

I'm thinking 650K-1 Million realistically
2 Million is more Wilder vs AJ honestly
That being said, if this doesn't do well, don't cry about wanting to see other big fights. Boxing fans are sitting back playing these numbers games and want to scream "This Boxing Event Flopped" but WE the boxing fans look bad when good fights are made and they Flop. I don't care who is the Promoter of the event, when good fights and big fights are made it should be 100% Supported. This is not the mentality sadly, you have so called "BOXING FANS" rooting for Boxing to Fail based on who is promoting and/or showing it. No other sport fans does this besides "Boxing Fans"Last edited by sicko; 12-18-2019, 06:00 PM.
