Showtime hasn't announced any great fights yet in the coming months, but I like to see that they're at least keeping these top guys active. They didn't have enough cards last year.

What's wrong with this fight? This is a good fight and GRJ will be in a real fight. King Tug can fight.

I truly hope you are right, I held high hopes for GRJ at one point. It's grown tiresome over the years to support someone who seems so disnterested. This is a fight he should be far past taking at his age in his career.

Well, for one, this is a mandatory fight and two, King Tug is hardly a bum as some in this thread seem to be alluding to. GRJ gives plenty of reasons to criticize him, but this fight is not one of them.

I think SHOWTIME is doing very good for the situation they're in with PBC. We're getting Jermall and Tank in december, Boots Ennis Claressa shields Danny Garcia Jarrett hurd in January and GRJ in February. While in the same time frame over on FOX PBC is giving us Jermell Julian Williams and Deontay. Thats a lot of boxing guys. You can't expect every single boxing match to be Hagler vs Hearns. Sheesh! Lets just enjoy the fact that we're getting quality (and free) fights to start off 2020 and enjoy it because I feel 2020 is going to get even better. Nevertheless I do agree, GRJ needs to fight waaayyyy more and dont sleep on KingTug because he can rumble!!!
