Inactive and blown up Gamboa put him on ***** street. Crawford had a massive size advantage too. Eurobum Mean Machine dropped him. He hasn't faced anyone that skilled with speed and power since Gamboa put him on ***** street. That fight put him in the Top Rank protection program with ESPN exclusivity to duck anyone that could expose him. The washed up and weight drained shell of quitter Brook damn near had his eye closed in a few rounds. Anyone fundamentally sound with decent power can trouble Crawford and possibly stop him. There's a reason Bomac and Crawford think Thurman is his biggest challenge at welterweight.

That can work. Maidana’s style of pressuring make it hard to counter-punch him. He takes away any punching space and maul you in a corner. I think Crawford would still beat him, but he would get his head bash in a few times for sure.
Yep, he used to fight very awkward Maidana, doesn't car that he doesn't look good technique wise, but to do it you have to have good chin as well, as Crawford is a very good counter puncher.
