you should train and beat him or train a fighter to beat him if it is "EASY"!!!!!!!!

1 hit from Thurman, Pacquiao, Danny Garcia, or Spence and Crawford could go night night. His chin is weak and was always suspect since Gamboa put him on ***** street, exposing it. Crawford gets touched by bums and even dropped. The elites will expose him if he ever steps up.

I feel like any way you answer, it's going to sound kind of obvious and vague...because it's a difficult question, but one obvious thing is that a fighter has to have equal attributes; Power, speed, stamina, conditioning, and be smart.

I don't know how you beat him. He's very versatile and very good at finding an opponent's weakness. Knowing when to stick to boxing (postol), when to turn it up on a tiring fighter (gamboa), when to press forward to prevent his opponent from thinking and timing him (Kava). He's really good.

Spence is a great example of said attributes; he's a crisp boxer-puncher himself. Spence has good stamina, smart fighting ability and good power. I think you need those attributes because you have to have them to compete with that equal. Which is why it sounds so cheesy.

Now, Crawford does have bad defensive lapses and loses rounds to lesser fighters. Furthermore, his defensive ability isn't quite as great as made out to be (good, but not consistently great). A smart fighter with good power and good stamina can definitely find moments to time him throughout 12 rounds and bank rounds. If an inferior guy like Kava can time him repeatedly than I suspect Spence would be able to as well. It's going to be tough, but his chin also isn't granite. That's one area one could always hope for. He has incredible stamina, perhaps the best at welter. The guy doesn't tire. He fights mean, he'll fight dirty, hold and hit, lowblow, behind the head....there's a lot to be careful with and you have to worry about his overall skills. It's a tough out and the other welterweights know it.

Larry: I don't need to explain anything.
Fists_of_Fury already just about covered it nicely.

But, I'll have a crack at it. I think you have to get him to go at you. You simply can't chase or pressure him. He's too slick, too agile. He doesn't have to run far, just enough to use your own momentum against you. Let him step to you. Drill him with straight punches as he closes distance and immediately reposition.
Problem is that this type is strategy only works for certain kinds of fighters. Wouldn't work for a Porter. Pac has a crazy way of hitting you before you think he's in position to hit you though. A patient Pacquaio could catch him if he didn't relegate himself to chasing.

I don't see Thurman having any success. He doesn't do anything as good as Crawford does.
Huge Bud fan. I agree with having to try and get him to go at you. It’s obviously a scary thing to ask for as he is a bad man and can really put it on you when he wants. But he can also be hit, and eschews defence at times to get to you. Hitting him will invoke his wrath, but that’s where someone’s best chance of catching him hard and clean is. He’s a great fighter, basically it’s gonna take another great fighter, with a good punch, timing, and bravery. Manny with his unique style could surprise Crawford a few times, but I think he’d need one of those times to be devastating. Bud looks like he has a good chin, and he adapts like u said. Try and win an exchange early, jump on him, hope for the ref to make a quick stoppage. If it doesn’t work, then just take a knee. U don’t want none of what’s coming back.

If TC fights a very top guy he will not fight him like he did last fight, he showed no respect and pressed for the KO thats why he got tagged the way he did, it will me more cat and mouse with explosive flurries, I think he wanted to be impressive and got reckless I doubt he fights like that against Spence Manny or Porter.

Those Euro guys in WT fights are tough as teak and very strong, It seems too many in here expect the best guys to just blow them out and not get touched or buzzed, its not realistic at the top level.

If the TC hook caught his temple, it was only fractions away it could have been lights out, its boxing against guys that come to win, fights are 12 rounds for a reason, they are 36 minute battles. not he landed a couple before he was stopped.

                      What Roadblock has mentioned.
It's a 12 round fight it really doesn't matter if Bud got either clipped hurt or a knock down because he adjusted and knocked a very tough fighter out.
Most guys at this level get hit but Bud is different if you get a good punch in he will get very focused to hurt you back.
                      Bud Crawford P4P1.
