Well, I like Crawford and have him P4P #1. I don’t know what you mean about him beating a “Russian that everyone here worships so much” — Kavaliauskas is Lithuanian and frankly, little known or talked about here.
I personally think pre-crash Errol Spence ranks pretty highly P4P and could give Crawford a run for his money. But I like Crawford against just about anybody since he is a fighter who has good ability to adjust and box or slug it out if he needs to. He showed that the other night. He reminds me a bit of a Sugar Ray Leonard style fighter.
Personally, I’m not sure I can agree with you that he’s had better comp than all those other guys you mentioned. But, I agree with you he probably beats most or all of them. Like I said only one I have my doubts is Spence, but we still don’t know if he will ever fight as well as he once did whenever he returns.
As for his racial background as an African-American, I’m sure there are some racist fans who don’t like him just for something as ****** a reason as that, but let’s be honest a lot of good boxers are black and most boxing fans white or otherwise have at least some black fighters among their favorites. I think more of his haters come from the fact he hasn’t been in a lot of the fights they want to see (specifically Spence), and they’re upset about waiting so long and he’s already calling himself the best, which I can’t recall Spence doing.Comment

The biggest divide and talk of a narrative are PBc diehards aka the LDBC currently in a divide about Crawford...They are very critical about Crawford at the moment. The LDBc ain’t predominantly Mexican... let’s tag Fannon... he gets rattled to preserve the PBC vs Top Rank narrative for monetary purposes on YouTube.

Spence fought Brook and Porter. Both are better than anyone Crawford has fought. Porter has fought Garcia, Thurman , Brook, Spence. All are better than anyone Crawford has fought. Even Danny Garcia fought Prime Matthysse, Prime Khan and Peterson who are all better than anyone Crawford has fought obviously he also fought Porter and Thurman. I’ve got nothing against Crawford but he’s wasting his prime years fighting bums and B- level fighters at bestComment

Crawford gets criticism from everwhere, not just PBC. Fans of other top p4p fighters criticize his resume regularly. Fans of Spence, Manny and other PBC guys get at him. That is why I liked his interview with Ward so much. He recognizes that everyone hates on him for different reasons. ALl he can do is fight who they put in front of him.Comment

The LDBC don't like this reality, and that's what up to debate.
Seems rather practical for a fighter to simply pull that card. The best EXAMPLE is when fighters call out other fighters, publicly, or atleast on camera doing so. for example, randomly, who has Benavidez called out, or Plant? I won't front, Canelo is quiet too sometimes, but what he does say consistently is ''I want to fight the best...''
Canelo since 2019 has been saying if it's a ''reto,'' meaning challenge. I think Canelo here forward will give fans the best fights. That's what's important. I'm just hoping he doesn't fight Ryder or Lemieux, maybe even GGG. I want Canelo to fight strap holders here forward or defend his belts with top fighters.

Canelo is in a completely different lane. He picks and chooses who he fights. His fighting Kov was garbage because he went to the WBC for the emeritus designation to avoid Charlo. He also is refusing to fight Andrade. He is also holding the GGG 3rd fight off as GGG gets older.
All the top MW, except Charlo, are on the same network as Canelo so its hard to compare him to Crawford.Comment
