Ironic you should say that, since I have the same complaint about that other welterweight. So why does that guy get a pass for only accomplishing *ish at 140, yet Danny gets criticized?

And as far as his losses - to only lose to the top of the division is more telling. It means he's actually FOUGHT threats. Unlike that other guy. Were he to fight the same level of opposition, he'd have at least two losses too.

I believe that other welterweight you are referring to is Terence Crawford. Well here's the deal.

Top Rank doesn't have anywhere near the number of welters in their stable as the PBC does. Yet all Danny Garcia has done throughout much of his career is fight low risk, over matched and cherry picked opponents.

On the other hand Bud is only fighting with the hand he is dealt; Which is why myself and so many others believe that he should sign with the PBC since they hold all the cards at his weight division.

If those fighters were available to Terence Crawford I am pretty sure he would fight them all in a heartbeat.

What's wrong with that got to stay busy while spence is out?

Because you're smart enough I would hope to realize Spence wouldn't fight Danny for his return fight from slamming his head into the pavement. So who exactly is Danny staying busy for?

When Danny fought Lucas it wasn't a cherry pick, Lucas was still everyone's 'eye test', having only ever lost close.

                Khan had two 140 titles.

                Thurman was razor close.

So while Garcia has had his fair share of easy fights, his fight with Lucas alone surpasses anything Crawford has done. As well, that fight was for lineal @ 140 - so Danny Swift was the man long before Crawford was.

In fact, recalling that now makes me definitely want Swift vs. Crawford. He better not stay southpaw and eat a No Look Hook™ like he ate Kavaliauskas' two-piece.

No one knows what spence is going to do next. Danny will get a title shot after this either way against spence, pac or even porter or ugas for the WBC if spence vacates or an interim title.

Gtfo with that eliminator $h.it. Redkach is nowhere in the rankings. If he wants real eliminator, there’s Ugas and Lipinets for that.
