im not even knocking crawford because i like himGetting all the belts together isn’t such an easy thing to do, especially with the politics that we go through in boxing nowadays. You can only beat who the belt holders are. There is nothing to knock there.
We as boxing fans need to encourage those sort of things, not use it to tear down the boxers. Ask for more competitive fights, instead of having agendas toward certain boxers.
If I criticise a boxer but he is willing to fight top notch competition then I would praise him. For example I criticise Wilder for ducking Joshua, but I still praise him for fighting Fury or showing willingness to.
Same should go for all boxers.
but its not that hard to do when the other guys are really nobodies and you are backed by bob arum as one of his future stars....Comment

Of course not.
But what else is on Crawford’s resume?
They don't have much to work with and the ldbc needs top proven fighters like they need a bath.Last edited by glenn mcrory; 12-16-2019, 05:01 PM.Comment

it doesnt mean anything, the best two guys in that division were postol and diaz. diaz had a draw with shot lamont peterson, postol then got beat easy by a very green version of josh taylor a bit later.
140 has always been a weak division and most of the top guys in that division in history get found out at 147. crawford probably will too.Comment

I feel the same way about the tournaments. Ward winning the average six and 140lb tournament with taylor-prograis wasnt impressive since the division is so weak. And in both cases they didnt even fight all the top guysComment

ward was actually the longest odds to win it..and he was an olympic gold medalist lol
kessler and froch were good fighters man....and it would have been interesting to see how good dirrell might have been if he wasnt broken by the cheap shotComment
